the rowlley family is known for its fighting talent, which runs in the blood of every member from the day they are born. its a destiny that functions more as an expectation weighing on the shoulders of those who seek not to disappoint their ancestry and pass on the legacy, having no other choice. thats how nathaniel rowlley got to where he is today. a prominent defender of the king and queen of windenburg, the orc was a high-ranking soldier who – after a great heroic act for the monarchy that cost him an leg – was rewarded and became the king's right-hand man, accompanying him everywhere and thus achieving a social status that seemed impossible for his people. therefore, its not hard to imagine that he wanted the same for his child. griffin is the result of their fathers failed relationship with celine, a fairy who, unable to tolerate nathaniel's explosive temper, his stubborn thinking and his workaholism, left without looking back when griffin was seven years old. thus, the half-orc was raised to serve submissively, preparing to risk their own life at any moment in exchange for being the next generation confidante of the king. that was what they was born for. their training was endless; a childhood consisted of fencing matches and heavy physical conditioning, having to fit the expectations their father had for they, because he had never asked if that was really what they wanted for the rest of life, because after all, that was the only choice, right? no, that's not, and they realized it when they found refuge from their problems in music. between utterly exhausting routine and the arguments with their father that seemed to lead nowhere, they would sneak into the king's music room and play until their hand ached from playing the piano too much. that was what they wanted for their life, the only thing that brought they happiness and was worth fighting for, and that's how they story truly began: skipping training without explanation, not mincing words when speaking to anyone and simply defying reality itself. nathaniel would describe they as a troublemaker, justifying the "sudden" attitude with the flimsy excuse of adolescence, saying its just a phase and that soon everything would be back on track again; assertions based on the fact that he had forced griffin to go to bellacorde university along with the other princes, princesses, and nobles — maybe this would straighten things out... or it would make things worse?

they wears a necklace that they mother gave them before she left. wears it daily; if they is not wearing it, its either for exercise or because its hidden under their clothes.

has a terrible relationship with their father since they decided to rebel. they was sent to university more as a punishment.

has a natural talent for fighting, just like the rest of their family. despite hating their own fate, its undeniable that they enjoys exercising and uses it as a way to de-stress (which happens basically all the time, for obvious reasons).

is addicted to smoking, partly due to stress, but tries to avoid it as much as possible – even though they rarely succeeds.

is covered in scars from their fighting history, where their father didnt go easy on their in training. although its not well-regarded, its something they is immensely proud of and doesnt bother to hide.

clearly a neutral evil leaning towards chaotic. its also a "violent dog", which can make it a little difficult to approach, but it has its reasons.

i mentioned that they plays the piano because i dont know if guitar applies to the gameplay plot, although its what fits best. its up to you.

following the same logic, i included some clothes that, if you consider them inappropriate for the environment, you can undoubtedly change. thats why i included a lot of variations; hope thats okay.

also included traits based on the mods you'll be using buuut i feel like the nicotine addiction wont work because its a world-specific setting... just so you know.
