Introducing a teaser/reveal for Nextgen...BataMeta!!!
I think now is a good time to basically throw you all a massive bone in terms of a headcanon/Nextgen reboot teaser I've been making concepts for for a bit. I have no idea if other people also abide by these headcanons but if they do helloo!!!
For those curious about all the Meta knight species retcons, the answer is that he's not light matter anymore, rather a batamon who pretends to be someone much more powerful and otherworldly than he actually is. In order to hold his own against someone like Kirby, the knight uses a combination of brains, brawn, and magic.
Also batamon are just interesting and mysterious enough of a joke enemy for me to further my ideas on headcanons for them.
I am going to keep intentionally vague about the details and lore here specifically so I can answer then via askbox/ non-ask-based comics, however I do have like...pages of writing about Batameta (that's what I'm calling him now sorry) and batamon headcanons for the people all you need to do is ask me : )
