Bat Escher design

Listen I know technically the Consorts are spawn but by MY standards they’re literally just half a step and Strahd’s permission away from being full vampires. Since the Consort Ritual involves drinking their sire’s blood. So with Strahd’s approval (and their own age) the consorts slowly gain more vampiric powers. And Escher has been gaining a lot of approval from Strahd in my game, to the point that Strahd has allowed him to create a vampire for him. Therefore he has enough power to shift into Bat Escher.

It might also just be an excuse to draw more cute bats.
