Bat-Bat was created by Ralph Bakshi for his "Mighty Mouse" cartoon show, but later appeared in Marvel's "Mighty Mouse" comic. Bat-Bat's real name is Bruce Vein, a bat billionaire whose parents were killed before his eyes. Bruce dedicated himself to fighting crime, and he realized that he should create an identity that will strike fear into his enemies. So the bat decided to disguise himself as a bat.
