This is an au of the Milo Kocho au btw
As Muzan is restrained outside and starts to burn up, Milo is begging and pleading Basil inside to turn back. Her eyes are filled with tears and she has scratches and cuts and bruises all over her body, but she is determined to save him.
Kanao arrives with a fourth syringe, and quickly inserts it into Basil before leaving to hrlo with other slayers. He falls down for a minute as Milo panics.
"Mi-o?"
Basil wakes up and looks at her, his eyes and hair slowly turning back to normal.
"Basil!!"
The area is spinning, blurry, and the colors are inverted.
"Wh...at? Wh-is ha-ing?"
Basil's voice cuts out and skips letters.
"W-voice-at?"
Basil starts to panic, as he realizes that he can't move his arms either
Both of their faces turn confused.
"Basil, wha...what's happening to your voice?"
"I-d-now..?"
Basil shifts to sit up, but their arms dont move, like they are sown into the ground. They try to close their eyes, but they sting and stay in place.
Milo holds his arms in an attempt to heal him, but instead her hands come back bruised.
The scab on Basil's forehead from where he was turned to a demon, starts opening up. Milo only realizes when a glistening streak of white starts running down basil's face.
"B-asil... your scars..."
As he glanced around, he noticed all his scars and bruises had been reopening.
Milo starts crying, she looks into Basil's eyes, which were also crying, and hugged him.
"I-an't m-ve"
Suddenly, Basil's left eye grows black, and the blood from his forehead turns red, then white, then red again. He stares forward, not moving, nor breathing
He stays like that for a minute, while milo pulls back and watches him.
With a large gasp, he comes back to life suddenly. His head is thrown back as his eyes turn fully black. His arms and legs contract, and then his whole body relaxes and he falls back asleep.
"Milo, what's happening to basil...?" Kanao had come back over to basil and milo after hearing the panic.
"I-I don't know! His body's doing weird things!" When she looked over, she noticed basil's left arm separate from its forearm and blood covering the area. She looked over to his right arm, which was deteriorating in the same place it had previously been lost, pooling with red and white blood.
Basil wakes back up, looks down, and cries harder than he had previously. He moves his hand to ease a sudden pain in his jaw, but can't reach without his arm.
Temporarily, basil's skin becomes more vibrant and colored, like Milo's. All his pain ceases, but the bleeding does not stop. They look at milo, and smile.
"Mallow, I love you..."
Their whole body falls.
Their hair turns brown, black, white, and every pastel it used to be, flickers.
Their skin pulses and bruises and turns pale.
Their eyes flicker black and white.
Milo hugs him, as tight as she can, her tears running into Basil's changing hair.
Basils body freezes, their pulse ceasing.
"I love you too."
Milo falls onto him, and succumbs to her injuries, the two lovers dying in eachother's arms.
A/N wow! First fic and it's killing off my and @larz-barz ocs! I seriously didn't know I could write something like this, and I did it all in one sitting. Hope I didn't cross any lines of gore because it's VERY gorey but I've posted it now so 🤷
Basil’s eyes widen in horror when Milo’s limp body hits the ground after she protected him from Zankoku.
Zankoku laughs as he uses his blood demon art to snap the unconscious yokai’s neck.
Basil can’t move, as if his feet have been rooted to the ground.
How could he let this happen..?
This is his fault…
He said he’d protect her, but…
Now she’s gone…
He failed…
“M-Milo….” He chokes out and his knees buckle beneath himself.
Zankoku slowly walks to Basil with a devilish smile. “How about I make you next~?” He asks then laughs as tears begin to roll down Basil’s cheeks.
Basil shakily stands up and growls. He swipes his black hair out of his eyes and strikes at Zankoku’s neck.
……
After almost an hour of fighting, Basil falls to his knees, next to Zankoku’s decaying body.
Basil crawls over to Milo’s corpse and hugs her. “I-I-I’m s-so sorry….” He cries out as he starts crying into her shoulder.
After a few minutes of crying and clinging onto what was once the world to Basil, he feels someone try to take Milo away from him.
He quickly squeezes Milo tighter. “N-no, don’t take her from me..!” His voice cracks and breaks from how much he’d been crying.
Shinobu and the kakushi standing with her sighs softly and sadly as they look at him and Milo’s small, ghostly pale body. “Alright, Basil.. Here’s the demon cure, okay..?” She shows him the injection and carefully takes his arm.
The kakushi makes the vein show up on his arm then Shinobu gives him the injection.
Basil lets out a pained gasp and squeezes Milo tighter.
He starts trembling and his skin begins flickering between a brighter color and what it normally is.
His hair flickers between the white with colorful streaks and a lightish brown.
Shinobu watches in horror and confusion as Basil goes through all of these changes.
He falls to the ground, still tightly holding Milo, then Shinobu begins shaking his shoulders frantically. “Basil? Basil!!” She calls out his name worriedly then she checks his pulse and starts crying when she realizes his pulse is gone.
Milo and Basil are carried away together by the kakushis as the crows fly over the battlefield announcing their deaths.
Basil was holding Milo so tightly they had to be buried together since they were unable to separate the two hashiras.
I think i already requested something similar to this to cloudy but I'm about to draw this anyway sooooo
Fantasy purple streak au (magic instead of demons) where it starts raining glowing stars (kinda like warm, glowy hail that melts when it touches the floor) and basil opens a clear umbrella and they walk to the library (?) While watching the stars fall around them

Basil and Milo are walking to the library. He has his arm wrapped around her waist protectively as they walk.
Glowing stars start falling around them.
Milo’s eyes shone in wonder and Basil looked down at her lovingly.
He pulled out a clear umbrella and opened it above them.
She looked up at him and smiled softly and lovingly, and he returned the smile.
Both of them blush shyly. “Th-the stars really are beautiful aren’t they..?” Milo asked softly and Basil gently rubbed his thumb on her waist.
“Not as beautiful as you..” *He says shyly and presses a soft kiss on her forehead, she blushes and her eyes sparkle even brighter.
She nuzzles into his protective hold on her as they walk.
As the stars hit the ground they melt into small puddles of golden light.
Milo and Basil watch the beautiful sight as the surrounding landscape is bathed in a gentle glow from the sunset and stars gently falling down around them.
Milo gently reached out from under the umbrella to catch one of the stars.
She uses starlight magic so the stars don’t affect her. The star actually glows brighter upon landing in her small hand.
“The gold really brings out your eyes..” Basil says and Milo smiles shyly at him, blush forming on her cheeks once more.
“Yours too..” She smiles, holding the star up a bit so the glow would reflect into his heterochromatic eyes.
He blushes and smiles, continuing to hold her close to him as they continue to walk to the library.
They arrive after a few minutes. “Hm.. It’s still going..” Milo says with a soft smile as the stars paint a soft glow on her and Basil as the sun lowers in the purple sky.
Basil presses a gentle kiss to her temple then he closes the umbrella and opens the door for Milo to go in first.

Basil and Milo are at the library studying right now.
He’s helping her with some math she didn’t really understand very well and Sanemi just yelled at her for not understanding.
“Did that help? Do you get it now?” Basil asked softly, he’s gently rubbing his thumb over Milo’s knuckles.
She nods and smiles softly at him. “Yes, thank you Basil.”
He nods and leans over to press a gentle kiss to her temple.
“Of course my love..” He said softly.
“Do you wanna look at the books?” Milo asks with a smile.
Basil smiles and happily goes with Milo to look at the books.
Milo finds something in the manga section, Demon Slayer.
“Hey love! That looks like Tanjiro doesn’t it?” She shows him the cover and he gently takes the book to get a better look.
“It does! That’s really weird not gonna lie.” He flips through the book and finds a girl that looks like Milo.
Basil’s eyes widen and he shows the character to Milo. “And this character looks like you!”
Milo gasps softly. “This is weird..! Do you think there’s one that looks like you..?” She curiously flips through the pages and finds one that looks like Basil.
She quickly shows it to him and his eyes narrow curiously.
“This is so weird.”
“Agreed..”
