So I drew Hawkins as my favorites: the Riddler and Rath 🫢

Continuation of my experiments with shrink plastic.

A bit of the process: I had an idea to make a keychain consisting of three handmade parts and a whole bunch of beads (maybe too many beads, but I love when everything looks so varied and sparkly. What can I say - I’m a magpie)

So, the handmade elements were:

- Hawkins’ Tarot card, which itself consisted of three layers: a back piece, a decorative golden element in the center, and a frame

- The head of Hawkins' straw doll

- a small artwork with Hawkins (that one above)

Disaster struck during baking: the frame twisted like my spine after a long day at the computer or drawing - and it stayed that way. So I had to improvise later.

Hawkins, too, was dramatically determined to bend and die just like the frame. But not on my watch. While the plastic was still warm, I did my best to flatten it (not perfect but still).

Note to self: metallic markers worked way better than I expected for this 🤔

My inner 'hehe' about this idea isn’t quite big enough to justify a full artwork. But! It’s also not weak enough to just let it go (obviously, since I still remember it)

So, this is my little compromise with myself:

Yan… he’s always singing something weird. And Faust plays the ukulele - and no, you won’t convince me otherwise now.
