Context; Bashag the bandit leader barbarian, Adea the bandit rogue, Nola the royal guard paladin and npc queen Esme have just broken out of jail. They'd been sent there for killing some "innocent people" who were really cultists, part of a mage rebellion who had kidnapped us and murdered our friends. We're on our way to go get our weapons, which are kept in a building separate from the jail, when two guards catch up to us. Bashag has already punted Adea through a window into the weaponâs house. A fight ensues. Bashag, having no weapons, goes into a rage and tackles a guard to the ground, headbutting him stunned.
DM: Alright, Bashag, it's your turn to act. What do you do?
Me, OOC: You said they only took our weapons, right? I still got everything else?
DM: .. Yes?
(Me) Bashag, barbarian: I take out one vial of snake poison while grabbing the guard's throat, and I force him to drink the poison.
Rest of party: *stunned silence*
DM: Whoa, okay, roll for it, with advantage since he is stunned.
Nola, OOC: And don't forget the 1d4, I blessed his attack rolls!
(Me) Bashag, barbarian: Okay so that's aaaa.. 23.
DM: Nola, you watch as Bashag grabs this man's throat, forcing him to open his mouth to gasp for air. As he does, Bashag just plops off the cork of the vial, emptying it into this poor guard's mouth before pinching his nose closed and covering his mouth, leaving him no choice but to swallow. As Bashag keeps constant eye contact, this guard gurgles and splutters, twitching and wheezing in agony before dying a horrific death.
Rest of party, OOC: Oh my god! That was brutal!Â
Me, OOC: Well, heâs not called Bashag âthe bruteâ for nothing. *insert the smuggest smirk in existence*
