Having been shown the error of her ways, Gracie decided to fake her death and cut ties with the Citadel, the shady mercenary guild for which she committed the atrocities she’s wrought. But doing so isn’t as easy as ghosting them on the Sending Stone…
Citadel graduates are implanted with two enchanted gems which track their location: one in the muscles of their neck, and one embedded in their sword hand. Gracie’s mentor and fellow Citadel turncloak Senna was able to remove them for her, but it was a grueling, painful, and costly ordeal; Gracie lost a lot of blood and the use of half the fingers in her dominant hand 😬💎🩸
