As if Lockwood parties weren’t infamous before, it felt like everyone was trying to updo their normal now that classes were cancelled and seemingly, everything was going to shit. Decently drunk, Gunner’s walking through the party in an attempt to find his brother who’d said he could be found there, but as he walks into the living room, the first person his eyes land on is Bas. It felt like Gunner had lost all control in his body when he’s automatically skidding to a stop, panic setting in nearly immediately. In one sharp movement, Gunner’s looping right to exit the room - however, he manages to make a far bigger scene than he’d been expecting when he walks face first into the sliding glass door that leads into the backyard. Both Gunner and his beer in hand stumble and eventually land on the ground, a loud groan exiting the boy as his still tender nose throbs from the impact, “Fucking cunt!” he spits, clutching at his face, “What frat boy asshole actually cleans their windows?”

Aware that he fully looked like a creep, Gunner continued to stare from his spot on the couch as Bas entered the living room of the Lockwood party, ignorant to the commotion around him. There was something about Bas that Gunner simultaneously admired and also despised, something he was more than less in denial about - he’d never live it down if he allowed himself to come to terms with it. Stiffening when Bas glanced in his direction, Gunner’s hand tightened around his drink when they made eye contact, aware he’d been caught in the act, “What’re you staring at?” he blurted immediately, defenses at an all time high. @bastianlis
