Managed to shoot a few planks on the old club house this weekend. The Silver Top Gum really works well, a similar profile to the old boards and they’ll go grey with age. A big thanks to Frost Timber for milling up the planks at a reasonable price.
Found out a little more about the old club house. Apparently it’s been there for more than 50 years but it was built to replace a previous club house. So it doesn’t quite date back to 1931 when the land was obtained by the tennis club
