5-6th panel— Vincenz: How do I explain this, actually? I trust you've already realised this isn't a regular job.

8-9th panel— Vincenz: Neither us nor the child count as normal. We are an odd people.

The gray background panels' text(it's also Vin): Personifications. Born of the ground we represent, with the purpose— to represent, serve and protect. We are as much members of the community as we are above and beyond it. We are still born young, however.
