D A R K (Baran Bo Odar & Jantje Friese, 2017 - 2020)
A series of drawings I did that I included in THIS video. A carefully curated compilation of songs I frequently listen to that appear to me as if they have been written for the series.

So I might be late to this absolute bonkers of a show whose writers are probably on LSD but I love how beneath the complexities and 100 million timelines and parallel worlds and three generations of every character, in the end it's about parental love and sacrifice. How Tannhaus spends 17 years building a time machine to bring back his dead son, Claudia makes it her life's purpose to prevent her daughter from suffering, Ulrich spends more than three decades in confinement in hopes of reuniting with his son, Noah makes it his life's quest to find his daughter, Mikkel sacrifices his life for his son..... it is up there with one of the most beautiful story ever created
"What we know is a drop. What we do not know is an ocean."
~Isaac Newton
I just finished Dark, and I just really love that the reason for all this is that Tannhaus just couldn’t let go of his son and family.
The origin that Adam was looking for turned out to be one man’s inability to let go of his grief.

*DARK SEASON 3 SPOILER ALERT*
For the people who are wondering why there Ulrich and Charlotte wasn't there in the origin world was because they were never born, clearly. When Hannah goes back in time (in Adam's world) she gets pregnant with Silja, who give birth to Hanno and Agnes.
Hanno who later becomes Noah, who travels to the future to help create the portal again, with Elisabeth. They give birth to Charlotte, who is kidnapped by the future Elisabeth and Charlotte and given to HG Tannhaus. And the loop goes on and on. Agnes is the mother of Tornte, who left him with the Tiedemann's. And later he becomes the father to Mads (who gets lost in 1956 and is found in the woods in 2019, when Mikkel gets lost) and Ulrich.
Hanno (Noah) and Agnes being the kids of Silja, who never get born in the origin world. Hannah never travels back in time and meet Egon and gets pregnant with Silja. They never travels back to meet Jonas, again, who murders Hannah and send Silja to the future for her to come back in time and meet Bartoze, who then give birth to Agnes and Hanno (Noah). So, they never existed and we don't get to see either Ulrich and Charlotte in the origin world where Hannah, Regina, Katharina, Wöller, Peter and Benni are having dinner together. And since Ulrich and Charlotte never existed, so didn't their kids: Martha, Magnus, Mikkel, Elisabeth, Franziska and even Jonas.
I don’t know if someone has already point that out but
Given that Jonas is Adam and Martha is Eve and that they are the core of their universes, can we regard Tannhaus as God? He creates them but, apart from helping the pgs with the time machine, he doesn’t have an active role like everyone else and gives off this odd aura like he was detached in a very specific way from the other pgs.
