Classic 🎩 or twisted 🌪 ? Short, yet still refreshing classic cocktail - Margarita 🍸 🎩 version (what I serve at the bar)I always go for 4cl tequila blanco (100% agave!) 2cl Cointreau 2cl lime juice salted rim 🛠 method: build in a shaker / shake with ice / double strain / garnish with salt rim 🌪my recent spontaneous (not overcomplicated) twist on this recipe calls for: 4cl tequila reposado (100% agave) 2cl Fassbind Himbeere 1.5cl Supasawa 3 frozen raspberries salted rim 🛠method: build in a shaker / blend all ingredients with a hand blender / add ice / shake / double strain ☝️explanation: one of my guests asked me for a fruity twist on Margarita and since the short season for raspberries’s bern at it’s best I quickly decided to go for this option. Use of Fassbind Himbeere (I love using Swiss local products) rounded up nicely these quite acidic fruits and gave the whole cocktail a serious raspberry punch. I wanted to focus mainly on this flavor and that’s why I went for Supasawa instead of lime juice. To introduce even more acidic feel relating to the classic recipe but omitting the lime flavor at the same time, which resulted in delicous fruity, raspberry relish shining like a dimond while dancing on my taste buds😁 Hope You enjoyed these two recipes.
