So who is Eobard Thawne? If you go to Dc Comic’s wiki, it says Professor Zoom (Black Flash, Reverse Flash, etc). That’s all comic stuff. In the show, he show’s up as HG Wells (who I think is actually dead btw) to help Barry and save his life.

His parents did a lot of weird, science things to him to make him smart and to look a certain way. He became obsessed with Barry and the speed force and decided to change his features to look like Barry. Flash forward, crazy shit happens (he goes back in time, i think he loses his powers at one point and then goes crazy) and he ends up hating Barry Allen.

He was also born in the 25th century. ← not really important??

Now if you take a peek at the Allen/West/Thawne Family tree

you see this! Distant ancestor of Malcolm Thawne (barry’s brother) which, I’m guessing means Malcolm is his parent’s grandparents??? or something like that.

i’m not sure how this ties in with the show, or if the writers are going to make this a thing.
