hp nextgen aesthetics: molly ii and lucy weasley (shelley hennig and maisie williams)

    ↳ Molly Weasley (named after her grandmother) was only four years old when she became a big sister. Lucy was her everything, and she treated her like a china doll, even more careful with her than their parents. They grew up best friends, and that bond only strengthened when Molly went to Hogwarts. The two sister wrote to each other every week, Molly describing the wonders of Hogwarts and the Hufflepuff house, Lucy griping about how their father was driving her insane, the usual sister stuff. A few weeks into Molly's fourth year at Hogwarts, tragedy struck, and their mother was killed in a muggle car accident. Things grew tenser and tenser between Lucy and Percy, especially now that they didn't have Audrey as a moderator. However, she only had to last one more year before she was off to Hogwarts with her sister. 

Once she was there, however, it was obvious things had changed. Molly was...cool. She was a fifth year, she had a huge group of friends and a boyfriend; she wanted nothing to do with her little sister. And Lucy, as disappointed as she was, didn’t say anything. Instead, she became very close with her cousin Roxanne, who was her age and also a part of the Slytherin house. Lucy became comfortable without Molly, learning to go to Roxy or Rose if she needed help or a shoulder to cry on. She almost forgot how close she was with her sister, until she asked her to move into her new apartment.

Molly confessed that she missed her sister, but she just couldn’t handle being around her after what happened to their mother. However, she knew that if she was moving out, she couldn’t leave Lucy behind. She agreed, and the two girls grew back together in a snap. They are sisters, after all.
