Nora had only just arrived in Sterling ago. Although she knew she should be unpacking and getting settled, Nora was all too keen to explore her new home.  Ater leaving Ben in the room, she’d strolled out into the hallway, and out of the building.  After a bit of exploring, she found herself sitting in a small cafe just enjoying her new surroundings.

{ Noah } I have a meeting today. { Noah } Is the tie alright or is it to blan?

“No, no, no, no.” Flora wagged her finger at the assistant, already fuming because trying to get a refund in this damn store was more difficult that she’d anticipated. “You listen to me. This was faulty when I bought it. I did not break it, my son did not break it because he doesn’t even know he has it yet!” “Yes but ma-am-” “Don’t you ma’am me! It’s his birthday in two weeks and now I need to find something else to buy him. I’m not leaving this store until you give me my money back.” Flora stood firm, completely unbothered by the fact she was causing a scene.

Neil couldn’t help but overhear a couple talking about the slave auction that happened a couple of weeks ago. They were talking about how great it is that people who deemed not fit for society to be kept off the streets like that. It took every ounce of him to keep from giving them a piece of his mind. How could anyone think that this was okay?  He clenched his fist tightly and turned to the person standing directly next to him and flashed a friendly smile “Nice weather today huh?” He said, looking for anyone to talk to, so he wouldn’t have to hear the blood boiling conversation going on a few feet away.
