The celebration of Yngvi-Freyr and GerĂ°râs consummation of their love
Barri the grove is named,
which we both know,
the grove of tranquil paths.
Nine nights hence,
there to NjĂśrdâs son
GerĂ°r will grant delight.

A symbolic union for our Vanir god of fertility and JĂśtunn GerĂ°r, who often symbolises the earth. A planting of seeds! Which means itâs great time for you to plant something inside in time for warmer weather, or hel plant something outside - some garlics are great this time of year! đ§
This year Iâve planted a Coleus (chocolate covered cherry). I also planted one last year and it was doing splendidly, buuutttt the foxes trampled it - thanks Loki!
