Beautiful morning to out and about, sky clear and the blue seemingly going on forever. Went hard out to Northcott to get there for low tide and make it for a slow, splashy, walk back along the beach. Biography: The Labyrinth of Treachery is more than just a dangerous maze, it's a battle ground where only a few monsters survive and defend what they consider their turf.
Cannon Soldier and Labyrinth Tank are forging through the magical twists and turns already, but are not without competition.
Jirai Gumo and Dungeon Worm have both claimed territory and often easily sneak up on the high tech Dharma Cannons they use as sentries. Â
Shadow Ghoul can become the Wall Shadow, and performs similarly underhanded deeds for the Undead Hordes (and by extension the Undead Oligarchy).
And finally, Catapult Turtle and today's subject, Barrel Rock, work for The Kindred in the hopes of both studying the maze and its origins and preventing any potential means of invading Druishire from ANY of the other tribes.
For the sake of argument, we'll be focusing on Barrel Rock for this one. He's the 'brother' of Granite Fist, the Giant Soldier of Stone, created by the Ancient Sorcerer to be a second protector of Mount Geb. When Ancient Sorcerer joined The Kindred officially, Barrel Rock came with him and was assigned to guard the Labyrinth of Treachery after a near-defeat at the hands of the Machinations via sneak attack.
Although not one for a sense of direction, Barrel Rock was made with both life-detecting rader and a powerful back-cannon that can destroy pretty much anything he wants. As such, he was joined by fellow long-range fighter Catapult Turtle, as well as a reprogrammed Dharma Cannon named Oni. Together, they launch both lasers and Oni himself to either block enemy advancement, or defeat the sneakier combatants when they least expect it.
