Birds nest built on a broom. It was put in a nearby, but safer location. We think it's a tree swallow nest. Horse hair seems to be a favorable building material.
so I finally found it!!!
the thing that’s wrong with my perfect barn I’ve moved to mid year. As I went I said, it looks pretty perfect to me but I’m sure there will be a problem sooner or later. I found it now. The barn owners are highly judgemental + critical of people that have different views on horse wellfare. One month after me a girl came to the barn and put her horse into the small gelding group. So long story short, they are obviously throwing her out now because her horse is too wild and they think he belongs somehwere with only young horses (he’s 7?!?). She has to work with him more because he’s so bored and keeps harassing the other horses and keeps destroying equipment. Lol, like uhm what? The other boarders, who are basically there every day are also really judgemental (I’ve felt that as well before).
The crazy thing is I even wanted to ask her if she would maybe be willing to trade places with me, get my indoor stall for her horse and I’d put Schimmel into the herd because I feel it would be better for him. The other girl WILL leave now, so this spot would be free but nahhhh. My horse is really playful as well and I don’t want to end up hearing how he’s harassing other horses.... lol....I mean that’s kind of why you keep them in a herd, right, to play and have fun together??
Tfw your barn owner fat shames a rider out of riding a horse that was nowhere near too small for her because he's lame and then let's him be used in a jumping lesson.
Who knows what's happening here?

Things I Should Definitely NOT Have to Tell My 21 Year Old Co-Worker Pt. 1
Tessa: "Do you smell that?" Me: "If you're referring to the stench of horses, yes." --- Me: "What the hell are you doing?" Tessa: *continues sniffing* Me: "For the love of God, stop smelling that fan!" --- Me: "...Why the Hell does my work best friend have the nose of a bloodhound but the sarcasm of a five year old?"
When my 15 year old saddlebred mare behaves better than your 27 year old quarter horse during a rain storm👌 Wanna tell me who's a better "trainer" now?👍 You all said she would freak. You all told me not to bother getting on. HAHA.
FUCK
Congrats, now anyone who knows you're giving away Boyd - which in 24 hrs is going to be everyone - is going to know your dog killed the cat, not some damn coyote. Except ALSO everyone now knows you have cyots, too, AND you're likely blaming the wrong dog, because Dakota is too much of a pet to be gotten rid of (but not enough of one to be groomed properly, evidently. Yes you're right, shaving is bad, another congrats for you. Except her walking around looking like a door mat in the southern summer just might be worse???) That cat wasn't a barn cat, it had three legs, it just wanted cuddles and air conditioning and love and it couldn't run away, and though many offered to give it a loving, indoors home you selfishly kept her, your special three legged cat that everyone was captivated by and remarked on, with your ill behaved and untrained dogs, and now she's dead, partially eatten alive in terror. (Not the first dead cat either). A three legged, overly loving cat. The slaughter of the innocent.
