Character Profile: Music Edition - Ayla Thatcher
For many of us, music is a source of inspiration for our characters, so I want to know what songs inspire and/or relate to your muse! Choose between 10-15 songs, compile them into an album and tag some friends to share the beat!

So I have the same problem as @thanidiel. Ayla has four playlists right now, and these are all selected from those. Since Ayla’s a bard, music’s a huge part of how I get inspired for her. There’s a few different sounds in this mix, but it’s always been more about the lyrics to me I think. Whenever possible, though, I try to do piano or guitar centered songs, but I use whatever fits well lyrically. So these are songs that all have lyrics. Sara Bareilles is on there twice (and in the playlists a LOT) because she is Ayla’s voice claim. The songs on these playlists encompass a few different themes, but basically one was centered around who she was in ARR, the next one was more HW time frame, the third one is about leaving home for adventure (and not really limited to just Ayla), and the fourth was about the big tragedy in her life. Number five is in the works!
