[Feat. the always fantastic Fel of @stardrinker !!]
what a queer place ye've become since that moon came down...
but it at least presented an opportunity. for the well-prepared, that is.
not all adventurers seek to put down gods. sometimes, a man hefts a lance of simple necessity - and perhaps a neat little profit collecting the odd relic or so. and with all those young, wet-eared types eager to sally forth, a traveler could do worse than turning a survivalist's mileage into an on-the-road trade for the daring adventurer lookin' not to bleed out before being eaten by insectoids or sacrificed in some ritual!
it's an honest profit. he'd swear by his chocobo's feathers, he would!
Companion piece to this portrait.
I love some lesbian yearning.

Day 4 Prompt-Off the Hook
Day 4 Prompt Off the Hook
The muffled fearful cry reached Erinia’s ears from where she sat in the dining area. Swiftly she moved through the house and it wasn't long before she found the source and she frowned.
She had always known that the son of her employer seemed to be a letch but to see him now literally holding hard by the wrist one of the maids and pinning her in the corner. The girl looked absolutely terrified and Erinia angrily strode forward stating, “Release her, I am only giving the single warning.”
He looked up at her his eyes flashing in annoyance and he stated, “Turn around and find your way guard, you needn't concern yourself with this matter.” Â
Erinia’s eyes flicked to the terrified girl and she stated flatly, “The look in her eyes tells me otherwise. So I will say once more, let her go.”
“You have no right to speak to me so guard you work for me. Which means you do whatever…guh”
He didn’t get to finish the sentence as Erinia lunged forward and decked him causing him to reflexively let go of the maid. As he did she looked the girl square in the eye as she pulled out a paper scrap from her cloak and a bit of charcoal she carried and jotted down a quick address, “Go here ask for either Aulitte or Eoheric and give them this note they will see to you.”
“You just…you know what will happen when his father…” the girl stammered.
“Don’t worry about me, you take care of yourself. I will handle what just happened, to be honest…I am a bit surprised he dropped so easily,”
The girl, still nervous, took a look at the paper then the Half-Elezen and then bolted out the nearby kitchen door. Erinia meanwhile grabbed the limp noble brat from the floor and dragged him up out of the kitchen and up the stairs to his father’s study.
As she entered she unceremoniously dropped the boy on his father’s carpet stating, “Sir, I just caught him trying to force himself upon one of the maids. I told him to release her and he refused so I did strike him…once.”
“You…what he was…are you sure,” the father stammered nervously, his gaze shifting down to his unconscious son and up to her, “Are you sure you didn’t misread..”
She gave a tight smile, “Sir, I saw what I saw, the girl has left so he cannot corner her again and yes I struck him.”
At the blustering and such she frowned and said, “Accept my word or deny them to be honest I don't care consider this my resignation and know one thing. I ever see him cornering a woman again anywhere be prepared to get no heirs out of him,”
With that she stormed out of the study and left the upjumped merchant’s home. She knew it was probably foolish to do things this way but to see how the supposed noble was more spineless than the jellyfish that called the nearby waters home. Â
She had known that the boy was a blind spot for his father but with how he had reacted told her he was most likely aware of his boy's proclivities but tried to ignore them which infuriated her.
