i have a question, why do people not like banter? i dont really listen to it but i wanna know why other people trash on it so often? sorry if this is the wrong acc to ask
okay so I'm not actually a big banter hater. I like irl content and I really like the vodcast format. but banter is kinda sub par as far as podcasts go, it doesn't really have any pull or value outside of already liking the ccs. plus a lot of the extreme banter hate came from when they were doing celebrity guest episodes (they were getting guests through an agency and ended interviewing some pretty terrible people)
to be honest though. I think the blunt of the banter hate is that people feel like it's replacing "better" content. and that if snf werent wasting time and energy on banter there would be content they like better being made (mostly streams and youtube videos) but to be honest I don't think they'd be doing much more without it. George genuinely seems passionate about banter and at least it's content lol.
