Hello and how are you doing? Could you do more Headcanons or a drabble with Banshee!Ignis or Vampire!Ignis? (Whichever is easier for you is perfect!) I love all your writing and can't wait to see more! Please and thank you, have a good day!!!
I’ll do both!
Banshee!Ignis:
As established before, Ignis knows when people will die and how. He doesn’t like to tell the person no matter how much they beg and plead of him. He feels as though it would only launch them closer to death if they were to know.
It’s also not just the three others that have suffered hearing problems from Ignis’ wails and screams, but daemons and other people as well. He does his best to only wail around daemons, but it’s hard on him.
Noctis and Prompto have tried to get samples of Ignis’ black tarry tears, but it would burn their fingers. It was like acid to them. Gladio didn’t want to try to get a sample from Ignis.
Ignis feels awful when he sees the death scenes of past hunters or past couples if he were to travel with the guys on the road. He would often sit somewhere for a bit to gather himself.
His wails and shrieks and seeing so much death tires him out. It also doesn’t work well if he’s in a popular area like Lestallum where there is so much more of… everything.
Vampire!Ignis:
Ignis was turned into a vampire while he was heading home after a long day at the Citadel helping take care of a very sick Noctis. His turning was rough as there was no help and no vampire had come out from the shadows to aid him.
He attacked Gladio once out of a bloodlust. He had no idea what he was doing and he couldn’t understand nor control himself. Glaives and Crownsguards had to rip the advisor off of the shield.
His secret was out and everyone in the Citadel was now aware with the fact that Ignis had been turned. And with Ignis being the royal advisor, he’s able to have a stockpile of blood bags and willing hosts to feed from 24/7.
And with his newfound vampirism, there comes weaknesses. For sunlight, they had somehow found a witch that would give Ignis a sun amulet so he could walk around during the day. Garlic went missing from the Citadel and silver was replaced with steel.
But with his strengths developing, he became stronger and faster. He could hear better and his reflexes had ultimately become honed and sharpened. He was able to save Noctis quicker from a rowdy daemon or chase after a wild animal if he had run out of blood bags.
