His resolute intent to end his life..her desperate plea to save him, frustrated that despair is blinding him before finally resorting to a heartbreaking confession of love for him, hoping it will make him believe again only to be saved by divine intervention..
The whole scene was just so frustratingly poignant and shatteringly beautiful..

For a hundred years I offered ugly death to everyone I met, and I did it with a song in my heart Buffy: What changed? Angel: I feed on a girl about your aged. Day 7 - Free Choice
Favorite Cannon-ish Bangel fanfic. I can't really think of anything so decided on this cause Joss is a meanie who keeps tearing them apart! Some of us are okay with happy endings, you know!! Also, in case anyone needs new fics to read.. though I think a lot of Bangel peeps would probably have come across this.
I have read a few but these two are like comfort food for my Bangel-lovin soul. It's WIP(and I constantly pray for updates) but it's definitely worth a read.

I mean itβs in the narrative, as long as they love each other as deeply as they do then they canβt be together because the curse is always at risk of being triggered.
Part of their bond is this cosmic, intangible connection.
the story of these two is a story full of love, pain, sacrifice and dedication. at times too torturous, but it is so pure that it hurts to see them... it is so unfair that Joss G. did not grant them the happy ending that they deserved so much and that the actors themselves yearned for.
