Is this for real? Bandai Spain took to their Twitter account to announce that they were holding a moment of silence calls by the Japanese government for all the Tamagotchi’s fallen in service. The tweet goes on to say the this party will be established from today as the Tamagotchi Remembrance Day, which is now December 28th.

Subsequent tweets inform followers that there are about 25 million malnourished and endangered Tamagotchi’s throughout the world, and this is because their owners do no not take their responsibility seriously. They encourage their followers not to be like them, and to love them the same way they love you. Bandai Spain then recommends a period of mourning to help the emotional circle of the Tamagotchi to get through the bad. Then instructs followers to reset their Tamagotchi a few minutes after death. They even put together a graphic as you can see above.

We’re not sure what this series of tweets was all about. It seem to be satire, but it was very interesting. What do you make of it?

San Diego -> New York -> Barcelona. The convention exclusive Tamagotchi Original’s are on quite the journey! Bandai Spain was present at this years Manga Barcelona, a Spanish anime and manga convention held annually in Barcelona. The event ran from December 8th through the 11th 2022, Bandai Namco had their own booth, and they did not disappoint with their offerings.

What a cute combination, right? Bandai Spain recently partnered up with Ramen Kagura, a popular ramen noodle restaurant with several locations throughout Spain. The giveaway closed on November 27th, 2022, but it’s just too cute to not write about.

The giveaway was to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Tamagotchi, and they know that Tamagotchi’s love their ramen! The giveaway included three Ramen Kagura boxes which feature all the delicious ingredients you need to make your own ramen at home, and three Tamagotchi Pix Party’s (random color).

What do we have here? An announced Tamagotchi Original shell has just surfaced in Spain, and we’re all sorts of confused. NaNotchi_ found this unannounced Tamagotchi Original P2 shell at a shopping center in Spain and we think they scored a gem! This Tamagotchi Original shell was never announced by Bandai America, but oddly enough is featured on Bandai Spain’s website.

This shell is actually featured on the back of the new Tamagotchi Original P2 packaging. We really like how the shell features the new Tamagotchi logo in blue and green around the scream, along with sprites of characters such as Mimitchi, Pochitchi, and Kusatchi. The shell itself is white with light blue buttons.
