Swirling Cloud: Bulletin Pavilion for BJFU Garden Festival by SUP Atelier in #Beijing #China. Located in a grove in the campus of BJFU, the “pavilion of clouds” is a bamboo structure built for 2018 “Bamboo Garden Festival”, and the project was commissioned by the faculty of BJFU. Covering an area of approximately 120 square meters, the pavilion will serve as a hub for information during the festival, and turn into a flexible place for recreation and gathering when the event is over. ZUO Studio‘s the 'Bamboo Pavilion' expresses the natural beauty of #Taichung #Taiwan 🇹🇼 . Drawing influence from imagery of taiwan’s central mountain range, the occupiable pavilion emanates a landform surrounded by water. From the interior, the occupant is offered the perception of walking through a bamboo forest. Natural light filters through overhead through woven textures and skylight apertures. ZUO studio made use of entirely native materials, primarily moso bamboo and makino bamboo. The colossal scale of the project emphasizes the tenacity of the natural material. Flamingo #Bamboo Pavilion by BambuBuild in #VinhPhuc #Vietnam | 2017. Flamingo Bamboo Pavilion was previously designed as an exhibition kiosk before finding new life as a bar and restaurant. To build the pavilion BamBubuild selected dendrocalamus, one of the tallest bamboo species, capable of reaching extraordinary heights. This combination creates the look of a bird's wings, with which the client was very satisfied because their resorts are recognized and named Flamingo, the name of a wading bird which is famous for their bright pink feathers. After being reused in many exhibitions in various places, the client wants to reuse this structure in their resort.
