Today is off to a slow start, and I’m OK with that. I am making a slow rug by way of the art of slow (hand) rug hooking. Outside, it’s chilly, but inside, it is lovely and warm, and am enjoying the pace. Still in my jammies. Dogs have been fed and let out, and come back inside. Everyone is in their cozy corner, everyone relaxed (we have to separate the pups because they don’t always all get along). The morning sunbeams are streaming across the he living room, and I’m taking it all in. Slow breathing; inhale; exhale.
