Today’s warm up doodle and some more self isolation thoughts… Imagine falling deeply ill, being potentially on the verge of death, and being told there is no access to care or treatment. For many of us this will not happen, but for some this is a reality. Times like these are confusing and frustrating and it is very easy to be dismissive towards the whole situation. It’s easy to feel that it won’t affect you and to want to continue on with your lives as planned, but that safety that you feel is not a luxury that everyone gets to have. DON’T PANIC but understand the risks. It’s extremely flawed and unfortunate that there are many people who don’t have the option to stay home because of their line of work, or will have their lives heavily affected by canceled events and/or plans (check in on these folks) - but if staying home right now is at all doable, it is imperative. COVID-19 currently has no vaccine or treatment and can still be highly contagious even when you are not showing symptoms, or are experiencing a mild case. What might be an inconvenience to you may save the lives of many. Grab a book, a sketchbook, a netflix, or that knitting project you’ve been holding off for a while and hunker down friends. Stay safe and WASH YOUR HANDS! Hopefully soon the storm will pass. #ballpointpensketch #ballpointpendrawing #ballpointpendoodle #inkartwork #sketchbookdrawing #sketchbookdrawings #covid19preparedness #coronaviruspreparedness #artistsoninstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/B9xVfkkFJZk/?igshid=1gmi2bdqy7h8b
