VE-200 & 300

Hey reptiblr, curious as to whether anyone has personal experience with either of these thermostats? I’d like to get a pulse-proportional thermostat for Charis’s viv to (hopefully) keep steadier temperatures. I just want to double check since they’re so expensive.

- Do they work well? - Reliable & long-lasting? - Worth the extra $25 to get the built-in night drop and the high/low alarms with the VE-300?

Edit: I’m seeing one thread so far that says Herpstat Intro+ is better?

Hey, question for BP (or other snakes) owners that use non-heating-pad heat methods (like CHEs or RHPs) - where do you put your thermostat probe & how do you attach it? What I have set up for Charis seems to be working fine so far, but if there’s a better way to set it up, I’d like to know! I keep finding guides on where to put the probe for heating mats instead.
