Wishing You Eternal Happiness- Based on one of my favourite c-novels ever of the same name. Chasing Dreams- Chen Zheyuan plays a General and Zhang Jingyi plays a princess who can foresee the future. Liang Yong Qi (the actor who played Shen Yurong and Fourth Husband in Perfect Match) plays the antagonist. I simply just have to watch. Mo Li- Bai Lu and Cheng Lei. And for the first time in a long time, it seems Bai Lu is not playing Bai Lu *gasp*. No way I'll miss it. How Dare You!?- Cheng Lei again but this time with Wang Churan. Two transmigrators. One is a king and one is a concubine. Probably will be the funniest drama in this list, at least that's how it seems in the trailer. Love Beyond the Grave- Ghost King FL and General ML. The novel has one of the most beautiful prose I've read in c-novels. Dilireba and Arthur Chen suit the characters. I am sat. Queen Chu/Qiao Chu- Zhou Yiran as soldier ML and Chen Duling as General's daughter FL. Qin Mi- Chen Xiao plays Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. Dai Luwa is the FL. I've never been so sat. Zhu Yu/Chasing Jade- Second full-length production by the same director who directed Blossom last year. Zhang Linghe and Tian Xiwei are the leads and I have a feeling this will be as good as Blossom if not better. Tigers sniff the rose- OTP from Blossom are back again but this time Li Yunrui is a scholar and Meng Ziyi is a princess. The photos they've released so far have been amazing. LYR is blindfolded in many of them. Cannot wait to know the reason for that when the drama airs. Blossoms of Power- Meng Ziyi again plays a princess FL with a bloody past. He Yu plays a machiavellian crown prince ML. Meng Ziyi is perfect for the role and the trailers and photos seem promising. Blossom in Darkness- Big bad demon ML locked up in magical prison and small medicine(?) spirit/fairy FL. I think I've seen this film before (LBFAD) and I loved it. Liao Zhai- A collection of supernatural stories about demons and people who hunt them set in historical times. Ensemble cast including Chang Huasen, Zhang Miaoyi and more. Southern Anecdote- Another addition to the DMBJ universe. Zhang Xincheng and Ding Yuxi are the dual leads playing secret agents investigating a case that leads them to a whole adventure. Da Tang Mi Wu- Feng Shao Feng plays Di Renjie. Here is the first trailer. I am simply too seated. A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains- Espionage drama starring Zhang Ruoyun, Liu Shi Shi, Wang Yang and more with Executive Producer Chen Daoming. I have to watch what these guys have been making while they're not working on JOL3.
