Sometimes he knows and sometimes it comes with the passing days and on the day he’s really not wanting to be touched, he has trouble saying he doesn’t want the hugs Mina gives him or Kaminari wrapping his arms around his shoulders.

It gets to the point where Sero goes to put a hand on his shoulder and he smacks it away. Sero doesn’t look hurt, just confused and asks if he did something to upset him.

He starts crying because he feels like he’s being selfish and rude for not wanting affection from his friends, and feels like he hurt Sero (and Everyone’s) feelings.

He’s not a reclusive or introverted guy anymore, he used to be but he really came out of his shell. He doesn’t wanna regress but he can’t help it, he just doesn’t want any physical touching right now. It makes him feel nauseous and like his skin is crawling.

That night, Bakusquad has a long, long chat about boundaries with not just Kiri and but with each other. Bakugou eventually joins the conversation and ends up admitting he doesn’t like the arm thing around his neck, which Kaminari feels horrible for.

Bakugou forgives and tells him that he didn’t know and wasn’t trying to make him uncomfortable on purpose.

Jirou tells Kirishima that it’s alright to not want affection, and Kiri ends up crying again from knowing that it’s ok to be as he is. She also lets them know that her earphone jacks are for her to touch only.

Kaminari is not a fan of the hair ruffles, Sero likes keeping his elbows to himself, Mina’s horns are not to be touched unless someone asks.

This big heart to heart weighs on Mina’s poor heart and she cries too and it’s pretty much a chain reaction even Bakugou sheds a tear or two. And they all hug, well besides Kiri, but they know he’s hugging in spirit.
