Buttermilk Biscuits
Buttermilk Biscuits.
3 cups flour, 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp sugar, 3/4 cup chilled unsalted cubed butter, 4 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 cup buttermilk. Mix dry. Add butter and blend with fingers till coarse crumbs fall from your fingertips. Fold in buttermilk until dough just holds. Shape loosely into biscuit shapes on a sheet pan, covered with parchment paper. Bake in a 425 deg F oven for 15 mins. #done
