You might say these aren’t practical for working in a bakery. To that I say, who cares? I think its pretty :) (x, x)
None! I’m going to be working next to a tattoo shop so who knows how long it’s going to last (not long). The only thing I scripted (and have) is my lobe piercings because those are boring and didn't want to have to wait to heal them.
A beautiful corner entrance right in the middle of everyones business. Knowing me, dark green of course! (x, x)
I love the homey, full of life, and so much to look at vibe. Definitely feeling the Kiki’s Delivery Service vibes!! (x, x)
(x, x) Definitely more focused on desserts and breads so we don’t serve drinks (someone else can be the barista!) Lots of croissants, cakes by the slice (or custom), loaves of bread, cupcakes, cookies, and those super cute fruit and cream sandwiches. Of course there’s seasonal and occasional different treats to keep people coming back.
Owned by Bdubs and he has Pearl and Lizzie working for him to help operate it. Lizzie is the assistant manager and Pearl started a couple months back.
Co-owned by Cleo and Etho! Both amazing tattoo artists. Cleo has Gem as her apprentice and Joel is working there as a piercer and is also helping Gem with her apprenticeship
Owned by Mumbo but heavily relies on his business partners, Grian and Scar. Scar doesn’t work there full time like Grian because he spends a portion of his time helping Cub who runs a lot of the businesses social media.
Owned by Scott! Scott is best known for doing great vivids which many of the hermits (Joel, Lizzie, and I) really appreciate. Shubble also does some hair coloring but is really known for her killer haircuts. Guqqie has been apprenticing here since they finished cosmology school.
No one knows who runs it… Maybe all the employees do?? False and Joe are commonly seen behind the counter. Xisuma is often found in the back office hunched over the expense report but he always claims he isn’t the boss.
It’s not common that you see a small business hardware store but their customer service is like to other! Tango and Impulse are often working in the appliance or plumbing area. Doc is in the electrical section, Ren’s working the lumber cutter, and Skizz is helping you pick out paint.
Owned by Zed, though if his poor baristas have to keep making his strange drinks they might overthrow him. Keralis, Jevin, and Jimmy are often behind the bar whipping up the questionable menu items Zed thinks up.
I own the bakery!! Eloise, Cam, and Aimsey work with me that way I don’t have to wake up super early every day. Also there’s a lot of things to make so having more than one person is extremely useful.
Technically not a small business but incredibly important to the street is all their support! Cub and Scar help run a lot of the social medias where xB and Beef are teaching business owners how to balance out their books (Big Business as False might say). Wels, Martyn, and BigB are there to help fill in if someone calls in sick (as long as they have the skills for it) to help keep businesses from having to close for the day. Oli is also seen in a lot of the businesses. He doesn’t work here or anywhere on the street? We don’t know what he does but he’s always a pleasure to see :)
