Look. My bag weighs at least 40lbs. If your kid weighs less than that, they need to be OUT OF MY WAY. Unless you're traveling alone with the little darlings, one adult can wait off to the side with them while another conducts the baggage retrieval. Or, at least, don't have the kiddies right up against the carousel where the rest of us are ridiculously crammed.
