"Why would you say that?"
"Why would you say that?"
What did she say not too long ago? It somehow slipped out of her mouth when speaking to the other woman. It’s partially her fault if she suddenly did such a thing. Not wanting anyone to grow concern about her well being or what runs through her mind when the night comes along to replace the sunlight.
“Do you ever wonder how it’ll feel like to disappear?” That was her question, right? It’s her statement and unintentionally it slides right out without thinking twice of what she said or who she’s speaking to. A palm was lightly smacked along the side of her face, chuckling softly as if it didn’t mean anything to her. What she said not too long ago towards the younger woman, that was nothing. Or at least it’s how she felt the past few days. Weeks even.
Naeun looks back at Suzy, shoulders lifted up into a loose shrug at the thought. “Well, I don’t know.” It somehow becomes a repetitive answer to give to someone when they ask her an inquiry lately. Because she barely knows the answer to most things therefore it’s rather frustrating to deal with. The brunette knows, deep down she knows the answer but it doesn’t want to escape her mind. Trapped inside of a cage to where her heart beat was racing at a gradually faster pace and somehow silence is the answer that was given.
“People keep bringing it up to me I just feel like it’s usually silly. Because they want to stay most of the time.”
It isn’t ‘silly’, she understands that most people tend to feel the way they do because of recent events or tragic moments that still haunt them. Again, it’s understandable because Naeun has to face those difficulties as well. She doesn’t bring it up to anyone but deep down it’s a struggle she needs to endure without reaching for one’s hand to hold during the process. They were bound to let go eventually. “Forget about it, yeah?”
