                                                « truth hurts, don't it? »

It did, it really did. But will she ever show that? No. Never. Slightly chapped lips parted and she exhaled. 

     « it would be a lie if i said     it didn't. »

Though it is true that the truth hurts, she would rather have someone come out with the truth over someone sugar-coating some ridiculous lie. But that's just her (and maybe others). Other times, she wished that the other would've kept whatever they wanted to say, in their head and not out their mouth. That would probably be true about her too. Strangers, friends and family alike might prefer her to shut her mouth in order to not spit out poison.

Yet she wasn't one to do that. She would always speak her mind. 

“Dusk— hey! I was literally just about to call you. Oh my god.” Suzy bursts into a short series of laughter, before wrapping her arms around the familiar female with a wide grin upon her lips. “I missed you too! No, no, no. I missed you way more.”

          A smile grew on her features as she waved at the girl, embracing her into a warm hug. "Oh really? Well, I'm glad I bumped into you on the streets then! Because it's nice to see you again," she said whilst nodding her head. "No, no. Hush, you. I missed you infinitely more. How are you?"

She left.

          Dusk was positive that she told the girl to stay put. It was dark out already and she wasn't here. She barely left for ten minutes, but unfortunately it was ten minutes too long. The girl's heart started racing in fear. What if something happened to her? What if she got hurt? Regrets of leaving to buy food was starting to kill her... slowly. It was her fault. Why did she leave the girl alone?

          Trying to focus solely on her voice and the dainty steps that Suzy takes, she decided that it was best if she remained calm. "Fuck," she cursed, groaning at how stupid she was. If anything happened to the girl, she wouldn't forgive herself. Suzy was a pretty girl and what's worse was that she's a popular idol as well. "Suzy?!" She ran down the street, trying to see if the other walked down there out of boredom.

Continuous calls of the girl's name, but no answer.

          Where did she run off to? Panic started to fill her mind. Constant worries about the girl being hurt ran through her head. Running down the isolated streets, she kept a look out for any glimpses of the girl or maybe footsteps or even her voice that she can manage to pick up. Her footsteps were heavy. The worried expression on her face never once left her visage. Turning the corner, she later heard a familiar giggle that was perhaps a block or two away.

     "Suzy Bae, if that's you... I swear to God."

The giggle turned into a hum, and for sure, she knew it was the girl.

          We haven't known each other that long yet, but even if that's true, I feel like we've known each other for a life time, heh. You're a really sweet girl and whenever I see you sad, it makes me sad. Someone like you doesn't deserve those horrible feelings. If I can... I would take your sadness away, like instead of you being sad, I would be sad in your place. You know? I hope you know that I love you a lot and even if we don't talk much, I still care about you nevertheless. Always take care of yourself, and I'm always here for you. Thank you for being my eternal girlfriend, and I'll forever be your eternal boyfriend.

          The girl lifted up her hand to check her wrist. 00:07:45, was what the counter on her wrist read. It was almost time. Was Hyeri finally going to meet her soulmate? The petite female, despite being hurt before, was excited to meet her soulmate. Soulmates are supposed to be the ones who will be there with you no matter what, right? Is her soulmate going to stay with her? The other wouldn't leave her... right? The questions ran through her head non-stop as she walked down the street.
