Jeez, I must be getting old, because I'm watching the Home Run Derby and some of these players look like they're all of about 17. I remember teasing my parents for saying that kind of thing, but you hit your 30s and it really do be happening to you.

Spring training notifications on the phone, first tickets of the season purchased (I love working for a locally beloved nonprofit, few things beat $9 ball games), optimism in the family group chat... Baseball season is in the air and ya girl is coming alive again!

Holy cow, I really thought they gave this game away in the seventh, this last-minute reversal is not what I was expecting! No one does it like the Phillies! (I mean this both in the positive and negative, btw. Consistently inconsistent.) You really never know what you're getting with this team.

Wearing a Phillies shirt today, listening to the boys kick absolute ass while I work, and working up some tentative optimism for fall ball. Would really love a redemptive Red October this year.
