If I'll ever get married, it must be to a man like this!!!!
I started playing Wuthering Waves recently and came across an awesome quest, revolving around the game of Go. The quest, Immortal Blaze, is about immortality, as you can get from its name. And the position on the board, that was showed in the game, is a real match between Uchida Shuhei 3-dan and O Meien 9-dan.
apparently there's talks of a match between AlphaGo Lee (version of AlphaGo that beat Lee Sedol 4-1, now considered fairly outdated as far as engines go) and Shin Jinseo (the rating gap between him and the 2nd best player is equal to the gap between 2nd and 30th)
Prediction if the match happens
Shin Jinseo 5-0 AlphaGo
Shin Jinseo 4-1 AlphaGo
Shin Jinseo 3-2 AlphaGo
Shin Jinseo 2-3 AlphaGo
Shin Jinseo 1-4 AlphaGo
Shin Jinseo 0-5 AlphaGo
Don't care/results.

Just finished watching The Match on Netflix. The film tells the story of two legendary go champions, pupil and master, Lee Chang-Ho and Cho Hoon-Hyun, played by Yoo Ah-in and Lee Byung-hun, respectively. The film begins with Cho returning home as the nation’s pride after defeating the world champion in a tournament in Singapore. A life-altering moment for him and for the game of “Baduk” in South Korea. Soon, Cho meets a young boy named Lee Chang-Ho. Seeing his deep interest in the strategic game and his calculative mind, Cho decides to take him in as a pupil. The film then follows the dramatic clash between mentor and student over the course of a decade. The film reminded me very much of the Japanese novel The Master of Go by Yasunari Kawabata. If you like slow, cerebral films, you will enjoy this one.
i highly reccomend the hikaru no go gba game rom. it actually makes the game of go feel approachable. there's COOL MUSIC during the go battles!
