Shirby, scanning the beast, saw its robots all over its goo. How they slashed and hit. He figured.. Maybe those were the main parts of the body he should get rid of first. Underlings then the big boss.
He headed straight for ‘Psymads’ arm, trying to slam at the malformed metal bugs there.

"Oh! Eggette!" Robotnik says, as he appears in the doorway of the room she's in. He seems... Oddly relieved at the fact that she's there. He quickly goes to pat her head. "I-I just wanted to remind you that I love you-- I don't think I say it too often." He does.
This was… quite sudden and out of nowhere. Not unwelcomed, mind you, but sudden. He seemed slightly startled, which concerned her a bit. One of her hands rose to meet his, in a way to show appreciation. He’s given a smile, a genuine one to assure him.
“ Oh Uncle Ivo, of course you do. ” She kinda gives him… a small fist bump, before moving straight into a hug. “ I love you too. You’re always the best. Thanks. ”

Nightmare was hardly even alive in there. You couldn’t ever possibly call this sad excuse of an existence living in any capacity. But he was thinking. He could see, he could hear. So when he heard the door open, when he saw Robotnik come into the chamber for reasons Nightmare could only assume were not nice, Nightmare felt prickling on his metal.
Faint pain of electricity that didn’t exist which made his melded together fingers try to twitch, but stop out of the threat of actual pain. Nightmare didn’t whimper because he was no scared dog, but he was most certainly not looking forward to any talk he refused to respond to.
..Oh no.
Banana’s in the room. So he’d have to watch Nightmare get tortured again. Ugh, how awful. He wanted something to change, he just wanted the bad dreams he gave Robotnik to give him a heart attack and kill him. He wanted Banana to wake up his dad, he just wanted some positive change for once.
He wanted to stop looking so pathetic, at the bottom of the orb, barely even alive looking, completely mute, rusted over, and unmoving. He wanted a change from that. Anything that could change that would be nice. Maybe he should think about really, really actually asking Meta Knight for help.
