So this is the most barebones wip I have as it’s relatively new. But the idea is based on how Seb was never the therapist but the mistress in the brocedes divorce
Charles is following in Seb’s footsteps and becoming the other woman when Maxiel were having their post 2018 daniel leaving Red Bull break. He wants Daniel and he’s going to get him
The main focus of the fic is the badger bunny 2019 Vegas trip that they talk about but never say what exactly happened there
Max is in the bed that he shares with Daniel when he sees the picture. It’s innocent. Just Daniel in a club – not unexpected as Daniel had many friends in the states that he would go out with.
What’s not innocent is the way Charles is wrapped around Daniel. What’s not innocent is that they're in Las Vegas together, Daniel’s not in Los Angeles like he had said after the Hungarian race. What’s not innocent is the paparazzi picture of Daniel and Charles stumbling out of the club and to a hotel together. For most, it would seem entirely innocent the way they're holding up one another in their drunken walk down the Vegas strip. But Max knows better. Max knows Daniel. And Max knows Charles. He knows better.
He’s seen it happen before, not too many years ago, in another relationship that seemed unbreakable.
