a ClanGen horror (?) idea for comics and storytellers
A leader who has Dark Forest trait looses their first life and begins to act strange ever since. It seems that the Dark Forest itself is controlling the leader than themselves. And longer it controls, more the leader's appearance changes to unnatural things; ever - bleeding claw wounds, darkening eyes, vomiting blood, breaking bones, twisting limbs, more aggressive/cold/manipulative actions, growing fangs... and the worst part is that other Dark Forest trait having cats are joining the leader one by one. As this mysterious Dark Forest curse spreads, the Clan is split between factions of cursed and safe cats, the question in everyone's minds only grows stronger: Will the Clan be able to fight off whatever is controlling their leader and Clan mates, or is everything over them?

I've re watched the only FTE and it caught my attention that Nico had an interesting view of Rose.
Through the entire interaction, they always think that Rose doesn't get upset.
I need to stop worrying about upsetting her, because she won't get mad.
Not wouldn't, won't. They themselves decided what Rose would feel and think without asking her. Which was fine because yes, Rose might not get angry at someone for "saying the wrong thing". However, I believe that this belief of theirs went too far with their murder attempt. They probably thought and hoped that Rose would also wouldn't get mad at them for stealing the turpentine and using it because "Rose won't get mad". While we don't know what her reaction will be to them after the trial, it's clear that she is upset that Nico used the excuse of spending time with her, just to steal the turpentine and try to frame her for Ace's "murder". If they had succeeded, Rose would've been the prime suspect of his death and they'd be "spotless".
Nico's murder attempt didn't only affect Ace or Levi. Rose is the second biggest victim to this and I think it should be explored more in fanfics, AUS and fanarts.
