My kind of books club. I wonder what these hoodlums will read next? Source: Pinterest.com
My headcanon is that Robert Townsend is secretly a bad-ass action hero despite his outwardly mild-mannered demeanour and an excellent camouflage as an upright Quaker.

BLACKTOBER DAY 17: BAD-ASS feat Redd
“Redd can be very destructive at times and has an incredible amount of strength! She’s pretty much unstoppable until she met her match against her older sister Khrissy.”

The Black Country has the most bad-ass flag I've ever seen
from /r/vexillology Top comment: The Black Country is an area in the West Midlands in the United Kingdom. It was so devastated by industrialization that it is believed to be the basis for Tolkein's depiction of Mordor (indeed, Mor-Dor means 'the Black Land' in Elvish Sindarin). And their flag looks like it's from some kind of bad-ass industrial anarcho-syndicalist alternate timeline.
Jessica Combs "the fastest woman on four wheels"
(July 27, 1980 – August 27, 2019)
Racer, TV personality, and certified bad-ass car builder Jessi Combs died driving a jet-powered car in a land speed-record attempt.
The accident took place at the North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenge held near Fields, Oregon.
She was no stranger to high-speed runs, having earned the title of “fastest woman on four wheels” after topping 398 mph at the same event back in 2013 and broke her own record in 2016.
