Robot! Tsukishima Kei x Human! Reader
CW: angst, the reader being the one completely in the wrong, timeskip Tsukishima
Your boyfriend is made of wires and metal. Behind his soft synthetic skin is a board of circuits and fans. He didnât live off of sleep. He never rested. He charged. He didnât have a brain, he had a motherboard. His first language was binary code. Everything about him is fake, but god he feels so real.Â
His skin is warm. His hair grows just like his height. His brown eyes glimmer in the sun in a way that captivates you even though you are too prideful to say anything. And he feels or at least he pretends to. You always laughed at the way he managed to be annoyed by every single person on Earth. Everything about him screamed real, but itâs all synthetic, artificial, scripted. Itâs hard having a boyfriend who is a robot.Â
You started dating him thinking it was nothing serious. People ridiculed you for dating an android.
âHe could never love you like a human could.â
You would nod and chuckle, knowing it to be true. Câmon, heâs synthetic, nothing could ever come from it. This dating thing wouldnât last long, youâd say. You just enjoyed his presence, but that was your first mistake. The shared laughs, dates, stolen moments. It all became too familiar. Slowly, but surely you began to feel an emptiness when he wasnât there. Your heart just never felt full when he was gone. But when he was present, you stuck to his side with a big cheesy grin.Â
You never registered it happening. Love. You would have tried to stop it if you caught it. You and him never brought up feelings. It was, you suppose, casual. You both lived in the moment and at that moment all you wanted was him.
You couldnât get enough of him. Not with his body pressing you to his bed, his synthetic skin warming yours. You had your arms wrapped around his neck. Hands tangled in his hair. The strands coiled around your fingers. âKei, please,â You whined for his kisses.Â
Kei chuckled heavily, his glasses fogged up from his hot breath. âIÂ just made out with you. How much more do you want from me?â He tries to push off of you, but you anchor him down. Your lips find his again. You breathed him in like he was your only source of oxygen. Keiâs mechanical hands tighten on your waist. Despite his nonchalant words, he pulls you in as forcefully as your kisses.Â
You never dwelled on your feelings for him. The thought of loving him brought too much inner turmoil. But here in this heated moment, the words slip out before you could think to stop them.Â
The whole world comes crashing down when his lips are still against yours. A shameful, prickly feeling churns in your stomach. Your face heats when his narrowed eyes find yours. Under his burning gaze, you scramble to take it back. âNo, sorry that was stupid. I honestly don't know what I was saying. You can just forget-â
âI know.â His words cut through your trance.Â
You physically recoil, pushing him off of you. âThe fuck you mean you know?âÂ
Sitting in front of you now, he gives you a snarky smile. He tactfully decides that right now is a great time to clean off his foggy glasses with the hem of his shirt. âYou were just sucking the life out of me because you hadnât seen me in 3 days. How could I not know?âÂ
âWell, I,â you stumble over your words. âThat could have been-shit-could have been lust for all you knew.âÂ
âAw, so you lust after me.â Kei tilts his head. His locks of hair swaying left.Â
âYou know what, screw you.â You swing your feet over the end of the bed. âIâm not taking shit from a robot who canât have emotions like actual humans do.â Grabbing your purse with hands so tense that your veins threaten to pop.Â
âIs that how you see me?â His voice is low and gruff. âA soulless machine? Incapable of anything real?âÂ
You dare not look over your shoulder at his questions and you dare not answer them, knowing youâd only make things worse. So you tie your shoelaces in silence. The weight on the bed shifts. His hot breath grazes your neck, making the hair on your arm stand up.Â
âSo what the fuck was this relationship to you, huh? Was I your little robot plaything while you were waiting for a real boyfriend who could give you real love?âÂ
His statements cut you because they were true and you couldnât deny them. You couldnât lie. âI donât know what you want to say, Tsukishima!â You yell as you shoot up from the bed. âItâs not like we ever had a future! Robots and humans donât belong together. They donât work!âÂ
âWell, Iâm glad you got some practice for your future real boyfriend.â You could hear the bitterness in his voiceâŚand the hurt, but your pride and stubbornness forced you to walk out his room. Not once did you glance back. You didnât see the tears that threatened to fall.
Sooo are we feeling a part two or nahh?
