#bad changes

I’m not being rage-y I’m genuinely confused as to what Blizzard are trying to do with her. With the recent change taking away her multi res (if you could call it that considering the most you could get was 3 if you were lucky) it feels like all she’s got going for her now is a slightly higher heal rate than the others, with Moira not being far off (and personally i feel she’s more effective since she can heal more than one at once.). Blizzard have said that they don’t like that Mercy players are hiding and waiting for the right moment to ult and get the ‘Big Res’, which i can understand, but taking her resurrections away defeats her purpose and uniqueness as a character. Another issue I have with the change is that they’ve slowed her ult fly speed down. I can only speak for myself, but usually when a mercy ults she takes a lot of fire from the enemy team, being able to heal and power up etc. but also being a giant glowing target flying through the sky. More often then not I end up dying when ulting (I don’t main her, but im not bad playing Mercy) and so people like me who will usually fill the healer spot will be even more anxious using her ult having even LESS survivability now. With the res being taken out her ult is simply a riskier, less effective Zenyatta ult since he can’t take damage. I feel that with all the changes to her, the most recent one (that’s live right now) has been the most fun and effective out of all the many versions she’s been though.

This is less me being angry at Blizzard, though not to say I’m not (all these changes have put off a friend of mine from maining her just after she got a golden gun for her, and c’mon? All that effort gone to waste) but it’s more I’m confused and frustrated. It feels like Blizzard have no idea what they want from Mercy if not resurrection.
