You can eat a tasty and filling burger stuffed with cheese and bacon without going against your Slimming World plan. These burgers taste great and are a great way to treat yourself without feeling bad.
Ingredients: 500g lean ground beef. 4 slices lean bacon, cooked and crumbled. 4 slices reduced-fat cheddar cheese. 1 small onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and whole wheat burger buns for serving.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine the lean ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and flatten each portion into a thin patty. Place a slice of cheddar cheese and a portion of crumbled bacon on top of 4 of the patties. Top each filled patty with another plain patty, sealing the edges to enclose the cheese and bacon stuffing. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the stuffed burgers for about 5-6 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness, and the cheese is melted and gooey. Serve the cheese and bacon stuffed burgers on whole wheat burger buns with lettuce leaves and tomato slices. Enjoy your syn-free Slimming World cheese and bacon stuffed burger!
