Enjoy a flavorful and hearty wild rice burger with the savory goodness of bacon and melted cheese. This burger is a delicious twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients: 1 cup cooked wild rice. 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup bread crumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon. 1/4 cup chopped scallions. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices cheddar cheese. Lettuce, tomato, and onion for garnish.
Instructions: Fry the ground beef, add the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped bacon, chopped scallions, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together in a large bowl. Mix everything together well, then shape it into 4 burger patties. Warm up the grill or pan on the stove over medium-high heat. Grill or fry the burger patties for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them. Put a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty in the last minute of cooking and cover to melt. You can use a grill or a toaster to toast the hamburger buns. Put lettuce, tomato, and onion on the bottom bun of each burger, then top with the wild rice burger and melted cheese. Put the top bun on top and serve hot.
