Every night at 7:30, on the dot, the girls come up to my door and let me know that they would like for me to escort them to the coop to settle in for the evening. They really follow me like I am the pied piper of chickens and I have to command them them to go in their roosting box with a finger gesture .Then they wait for me to open the nesting box lid and pet them a few times before wishing them sweet dreams. #chickenladylife #backyardfarmer #bufforpingtons
