Deer Diary,
One of my friends just suggested I start a blog with this name, and I got excited about it, so now we are here, with the deer.
My plan is to post about my backyard/front yard/neighbor deer! I receive many visits from them, and they bring me much joy.
When my partner and I toured the place we now live, there were two fawns in the front yard (above). At the time, it seemed like a magic treat that we saw deer. Now that we live here, it turns out that different deer visit multiple times a week, and I couldn’t be happier to have them. So now I have a place to share photos and updates (are videos of interest?) about these creatures which bring me joy. I can already tell one doe apart from the others, and want to try to recognize more of the other repeat guests. Similarly, I don’t know much about deer or deer lifecycles, and since there’s fawns, this could be a great chance to learn some things!
