Slaughterhouse - Slaughterhouse DO (2011) This EP is short but it's very sweet. They make good use of the time. In my opinion it matches the quality or their Debut project. The opening track "Back On The Scene" is so raw, punchy and energetic. It's a great opener and one of the best tracks on the EP. Track 2 almost matches the energy of the first track but not quite. Instead it has great technical lyicism from everyone. Crooked and Joel shine especially. The closing track "Move On" combines a collection of some or the best verses I've ever heard from each artists. I especially love Royces' verse that he mostly dedicates to Eminem. Crooked has a close second. Joel and Joe both have super powerful and personal verses too. It's really an all around great track from everyone. The only tracks I can't say I loved are "Everybody Down" and "Fight Club. They're both still great tracks but compared the the rest of the EP, they're not on the same level. As far as negatives, there's not much I can say. Sometimes one artist might have a weak verse but there's always someone with a verse that blows the bad verse out of the water. Overall This is a very good project with a few minor flaws. There aren't any bad songs but some are way better than others. This is a good listen for lyric lovers or anyone who likes a lot of energy/aggression in their rap. 8/10.
