I don’t do two projects at once
But I do have a story idea kinda simmering in the background and one of the characters is kind of forming and I am very fond of him already. He shall be my comic relief.Â
I think Spencer Klavan inspired him honestly. I’ve been on twitter a lot lately.
After looking trough the book further i found some aspects I would like to have on my environment.
The top images have this type of obfuscated feel to it and the colours blend into each other. as there is no sun on the sky during my story it would be interesting to have this type of look for the background.Â
Looking at different books for reference in regards to the environment in which the sun, the moon and the water will reside.
This was a very interesting book and the colours showcased on the environment are very unique and could be very interesting to replicate on my own animation.

Background Ideas
These are some very quick sketches of possible background ideas, that I feel could work with my idea of getting people to hold up signs. Some areas are very public, like Grand Central Train Station, the streets thats within city centre, outside of university, and a park bench. Other ideas are within university, or against a background that has a influential person upon it maybe. Â
I’m thinking of possibly using the corridor that leads to graphics within university. Using the side were the lockers are lined up against the windows, as its a very light and bright place which i feel would be ideal for filming each person. I’m not fussed if in the background people are walking around, or people having conversations in the distance. To be honest I hope that kind of atmosphere is there around that area, because it adds layers and visual noise.Â
